Just as an artist may have to view an object from different vantage points and make a picture from each one, we too use a strategic approach with our coaching style for you to become everything you envision. We have the expertise, knowledge, and tools to guide you in the most beneficial manner to you. What is good for one athlete, may not be good to another, and what was good for you before may not be the best approach later. We understand everyone is different and we tailor your training based on your needs and circumstances. The backbone of our training methodology is based on scientific theory and proven training methods.

You tell us where you want to go and we will help you get there. VPE was created to provide individualized coaching to help you reach your goals. Our success is measured by the achievements of our athletes. We pride ourselves on being committed to your goals by providing training knowledge and not just a training schedule.

We hear it often from athletes that they had been coached before without a good understanding of what they were doing and why they were doing it. We believe every workout should have a purpose with a specific goal in mind.

VPE encourages the use of the most modern technology to get the most use of out of your training.  From industry leading web based coaching software to power meters on bikes, power meters on runs, modern bike and running computers…. we use it all so we can measure performance gains and also educate you.

At VPE we are committed to keeping you healthy and injury free.  We know that the fastest way for an athlete to get better is to train consistently and you can’t do that if you’re hurt.  By assigning workouts that you are capable of doing in an order that your body can handle, we can avoid most common training injuries.

Through one-on-one communication and also the tools available to us through Training Peaks, we can monitor your fitness increases and make instant corrections to your training plan if you are on the verge of over-training.

In the event that an injury does happen, we will help guide you to the correct resources so that you can get back to doing what you love to do.

We will continually develop and improve our coaching skills through practice and continued education.
